(Roosevelt Middle School) OMSI High Seas Adventure Museum Camp-In teaches oceanography, meteorology, math, and other subjects in overnight stay on submarine. (Howard Elementary) Restructuring Science Education improves science literacy with purchase of additional microscopes for student use. (Sheldon High School ) Supporting Elementary Science Kits provides materials and labor to restock science kits used in elementary classrooms. (District 4J) The Crest Watershed continues development of two-year science curriculum focused on the surrounding watershed. (Crest Drive Elementary) Connections provides materials, transportation and a coordinator for block class for students needing extra help. Just Press Play! uses tape recorders to enhance proficiency and encourage conversation in second-language classes. (Churchill High School) Mobile Labs for Technology Education adds an iBook to mobile computer lab, beyond those already provided by parent fund-raising.
