Students solve computerized (generated) problems and use electronic scan cards for immediate feedback.

Why is this project important?

The project will immediately involve 3 teachers and their classes. The Success program will be a lighthouse for other teachers who when they see the inaugural operations will come on board as the school purchases more scanners and problem libraries.

Who, and how many, will be served?

All 7th graders - 184 total students.

How will you evaluate the success of this project?

The program generates math learner objectives. Success is determined through the number of objectives mastered by each individual student. The program can also generate diagnostic pretests and mastery tests that will also be used as an evaluation.

Does this proposal build upon existing programs at your school?

The Accelerated Math program will help us extend our school wide Connected Math curriculum to a larger range of individual student needs.
